Are you guys ready?! Only a few days away from the best days of a shoppers life. For those who don't know, Black Friday is a day where stores have the best sales on the day after Thanksgiving. Normally stores do 50% off the whole store and that if I do say so myself, is the BEST deal ever. Especially if it's a store you really love but rarely shop at so you definitely need to take advantage of that sale. Some stores have early Black Friday sales, which started this week. But definitely remember that Black Friday can get really hectic. So if you decide to go I recommend you wear some comfortable clothes because the lines will be LONG. When shopping you should definitely have patients and be as nice as possible. Also try and get in as early as possible. Some stores are open on Thanksgiving night all the way till the next day.

Tips for Black Friday:
  • Never and I mean NEVER put anything down because within seconds it can be gone
  • Make sure you go early. Thanksgiving night/EARLY Friday morning will be the best because parking lots will be crowded
  • Make a 'Wish list'. Write down the think you want or even go the day before so you know what you want and you can get in & out without killing anyone over a pair of boots

CYBER MONDAY! Cyber Monday is the Monday after Black Friday and last year Cyber Monday was the BIGGEST online shopping event in history. Obviously Cyber Monday is only online, hence the cyber part. A little tip for those who don't know is that you can put things in your shopping bags a few hours before Monday hits so you'll have what you want and you can just check out. Everything will be sold out instantly! So get your little fingers ready & your mouses ready to click!

May the odds be ever in your favor!

My Name is Nicholas Neil, I'm 22 from the Bronx NY. I come a diverse background.

Fashion is art and art is life and style is who you are as an individual. I feel like fashion is those 7 days in September and those 7 days in February here in New York. And the rest of the other days are style, people are very style oriented in New York.

I don't really have a favorite brand or have a favorite store that I shop at, my favorite saying when it comes to fashion is invest in looks not brands.

Breezy, an 18 year old creative director from Redhook, Brooklyn moved upstate shares his creative mind with the help of others. He's trying to gain a huge voice at a young age. He plans to spread nothing but positivity and to make people comfortable with being themselves. Breezy also wants to help our generation be more excepting. Which in his case is done by visual art.

What made you want to be a creative director?
My imagination is wild. It's often too much for me. Creative directing allows me to speak though art as well as work with other creative minds, which is always done working with people with a lot of passion for the same thing as you.

Do you have anyone or anything that inspires you?
PEOPLES inspire me. Just everything about people fascinates me.

Is there anyone specific that you wanna work with?
Oh god, there's so many people I would love a chance to work with! I must say the people that come to mind the most though are FKA Twigs and Kanye West.

How long have you been creative directing?
2 years of less. I mostly use to do my own thing, but I have had the amazing opportunity to begin branching out to other creative people's projects.

What have you worked on recently?
I'm beginning to work on short films.

Can you tell me a little about it?
Haha chill, what I can tell you is that my work deals with a lot of emotion. It's a emotion story either in still form or moving, you just need to look at the big picture within in.

Meet Vicky Lauren! A 19 year old New Yorker. Who specializes in special effects as well as beauty make-up! She's currently working at Elf as an artist.

Why make-up?
It's my passion

When did you start getting into make up?
I started getting into makeup around 13 but I loved playing dress up and pretending to be a princess since as long as I can remember.

What made you want to start doing make up?
That feeling I get when some one really like what I have done. Knowing I can make people feel better about them selves for a living while being able to express my self creatively really sealed the deal for me.

What's your favorite & MUST HAVE product?
I really love elf products because they are good quality and affordable at the same time. Anastasia brow dip and sephora's lip stain are also some of my favorite products, but I will never leave my house with out my loreal voluminous false fiber lash mascara its a miracle in a little gold tube.Lip stick wise is have to say wet and wilds new lipsticks are to die for super pigmented and only 2 bucks. Vamp it up and cherry bomb are my top two.

If you could wear one lipstick for the rest of your life, what one would it be?
This by far is the hardest question I've ever been asked in my 19 years of living, but if I had to choose id pick BARE mineral lipgloss from elf its a nude that I could wear any thing with.

Do you have anyone who inspires you?
@powdah is a special effects artist who I follow on Instagram his work is Amazing and is where I get a lot of my inspiration from. I aspire to be as good as him one day.

Any tips for beginners?
Practice makes perfect your not gonna get it the first time so don't give up, and don't always trust everything you see on YouTube.

Meet Meaghan Jones! A 19 year old, Florida native, who found creative freedom in make up. Check out her Youtube to see her in action!

Why make-up?
I'm an artist and I love making people feel beautiful about themselves. Make-up just enhances a women's or man's natural beauty already.

When did you start getting into make-up?
I've always been getting into my mom's make-up when I was younger. I really started to have interest in it my sophomore year of high school.

What made you want to start doing make up?
I already love art and I like to think the face is a blank canvas. You can do anything that comes to mind.. From theatrical to wedding make-up. The possibilities are unlimited.

What's your favorite product?
Oh go, that isn't fair! I have so many. My favorite product at the moment has to be Kat Von D lock it in foundation. It makes your face flawless.

What's your MUST HAVE product?
BROWS! I love Anastasia duo brow powder. Your brows shape your face, they are your frame. I can't leave the house without my brows.

If you could wear one lipstick for the rest of your life, what one would it be?
It's my limited edition but I'd have to say Rihanna's nude lipstick from her collection with MAC. It's a beautiful muted grey brown.

Fav. brand of make-up?
There's so many brands out there but from the ones I tried, I'd have to say MAC. The make-up quality is amaze balls.

Do you have anyone who inspires you?
I love watching YouTube videos! I grab inspiration from a few beauty gurus from there; Jaclyn Hill, Tymetheimfamous, Nikki Turtorials, Batalashbeauty & Desi Perkins are some of my favs. Celebrity wise, Rihanna's make-up, hands down is something I always am inspired by.

Any tips for beginners?
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Practice on yourself and on others. YouTube is always helpful. That's where I learned.

"Fashion isn't just about your outer appearance to me. It's about expressing yourself of course but it's also apart of your internal being. It advertises the person you are as a whole. You can't just wear something that screams "I am spontaneous" and in reality you're shy and guarded. You must must display your personality through your style. I've learned that it's a great way to truly identify yourself. It should never be about price or the stores that are most in style. It should only be about you and you're personal likings."

Picture
My sort of style is simple to me, and that's just how I like it. But don't be mistaken, i believe simple is exciting. I believe it makes a bold statement.
My inspirations involve everything around me. I get inspired by literally everything. By life itself. Nothing in particular inspires me because I like to keep an open mind. Everything alive and everything dead is what inspires me. The smallest and the littlest of things. The world around me keeps me hungry to learn and to create. I definitely struggle with the thought of excepting myself as a person. Evolving into who I was meant to be is not easy. But I definitely grow into that by using fashion. I take advantage of it and use it to create myself as a whole. It's not an easy process but I'm getting there the older I get and the more knowledgeable I become of certain things.

My number one goal in life is to make my daughter happy. Everything I do is for my daughter, Melodie. Some may know here as "Monkey". The moment I had her I knew my life would change. And from the moment on, my number one goal was to succeed for her.

I don't shop at anywhere particular at all. It's basically whatever I'm feeling like the day I go shopping. I absolutely love thrifting and consignment stores. I WILL NEVER MISS A DEAL!! I love places like, target and H&M. But for the most part I will shop anywhere as long as it has something I like and can see myself wearing.

"Fashion is not not necessarily about labels. It's not about brands. It's about something else that comes from within you."

When it comes to fashion never let someone judge you base of what you like wearing and what makes you feel like yourself, what you wear is who you are. You create your own style and form, it's all about your sense of wear.

Soho is mostly were you'll find me shopping, I shop at TopMan, Zara, F21, H&M and Urban Outfitters. I enjoy mixing the styles up in varieties creating a different unique type of form that fits me & my taste.

Goals : I want my name to be on the shopping bags that everybody has in their hands. I want everyone to understand me by wearing the clothing I design.

Fashion advice - If you like it wear it.

Fav stores - Topshop , Zara & american apparel

I would love to be a fashion designer. I'm a very creative person who loves fashion and wants to design basic , classy clothing that people can buy and wear.

Remember it is important that you set realistic goals for yourself.
